With only 8 episodes, Carrie on Prime Video, has been an amazing experience.
Yes the show differs from the book by Stephen King but so did the other movie adaptations. I loved the 1976 movie and am fond of King's book, this new series from Mike Flanagan has been an absolute joy to watch from start to finish.
The story has been updated to modern day with the likes of social media, but it still works brilliantly to the point that Carrie isn't the monster it's the other kids and her mother.
If you have access to Prime Video then go watch Carrie.
