For some time #Autodesk #AutodeskRevit #Revit had tools for the creation of #StructuralAnalysis model. Now #Graphisoft #Archicad #archicad25 jumps to this train. They introduce "Seamless Collaboration with Structural Engineers". Archicad provides a collaborative environment to ensure that architects and engineers can work together seamlessly – enhancing collaboration processes and reducing the probability of design errors. Archicad 25 brings exciting new improvements to the Structural Analytical Model. So on paper, all this looks nice. A lot of structural engineers tried Autodesk Revit analytical tools on real projects and after running some tests they decide to do all the modeling in native Structural Analytical tools. One of the reasons is what Architectural models are created not taking into account structural analytical logic. I hope this innovation from #Graphisoft #Archicad will work better and push the innovations in the Architecture #education curriculums.
