Chapter 1- ( the beginning)
After graduating from college and searching for so many jobs online and going for tons of interviews, Isabella is once again getting ready for a job interview at JONES ENTERPRISES for the position of a Personal assistant.
Isabella's POV
Looking through my closet, I don't even know what outfit will be appropriate for this interview and to say I'm tired of going for job interviews is the least I could say, 'Gosh!!! I better get this job this time around'. Deciding to wear a black pencil leather skirt my best friend gifted me on my birthday last year and a blouse I got from Walmart the last time I went shopping, while pairing my outfit with a shoe I got from a thrift store. Quickly combing and styling my brown hair into a sleek bun, feeling really nervous I quickly check the time just to find out I only have 30 minutes to get to the JONES' building for my interview. I hurriedly give my cat the last cat food left before leaving and catching a cab to my destination.
Getting to the business district of town, here I am standing in front of a massive business building realizing this is indeed a big company. From my little background check I found out that the CEO is under 30 and is quite a lady's man cause he keeps appearing on tabloids with news about his so many sexual escapades.
I just hope I get the job and do my best to avoid having any unprofessional relationship with him cause I've been through enough wrong relationships for my age. 'Why am I thinking so deeply about this, it's not like I've been picked for the job."
Taking a deep breath and walking into the building, I met someone who looks like a secretary and asked her for directions to where the interview was gonna take place.
She said
'you need to use the elevator and head to the top floor, turn right the first brown door that looks really expensive is the CEO's office, wait by the door in the waiting area because the CEO will be conducting this interview himself, you're welcome to JONES ENTERPRISE and I wish you luck'
I thanked her and followed the direction she gave, while in the elevator I briefly thought of how sweet and friendly the lady secretary seemed and I couldn't just shake off that strange fear, I kept asking questions in my head, why is the CEO conducting the interview himself? Couldn't he just appoint someone to handle it? Or does he want to intimidate the applicants? I just kept asking unnecessary questions.
Some moments later, the 'ding' elevator sound brought me back to reality. I stepped out of the elevator took my first step towards the right and that "expensive brown door" is pretty much screaming E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E
I found the waiting area and two people who were there before me. I said,
'Hi' and found a sit for myself, looking at my watch just to see I made it right on time cause it's exactly 9 o'clock. Someone came and called a name and a guy stood up and went into the CEO's office for his interview, 15 minutes later he was out and from his face I guess the interview didn't go so well. I'm getting really nervous already, I hands are becoming sweaty. I looked around to check if the air conditioner was ON and yeah it sure was, I'm just sweating from anxiety. The second person who is a pretty, plump and curvy lady was called to get into the CEO's office for her interview. She stood up and walked confidently into the office, looking at her I thought to myself
'She's definitely getting this job and not me '
Few minutes later I hear footsteps and I lift up my eyes toward the office door to see the pretty lady leaving with a sad look. 'Wow, this CEO must be difficult and impossible'
I felt like leaving without attending the interview but on a second thought just decided to wait. Shortly after, I was invited to go into the office, I stood up gathering my nerves and tried to look as confident as I could be, I walked to the office door placed my hand on the door knob to open the door and immediately I walked in, my eyes met the most intimidating and mesmerizing eyes EVER. A wave of fear and excitement electrified my body.............
