🧶 June Wavering and a Knitter’s Resolve

Jun 10, 2025

Hello again! 👋

So it’s June—the time of year when my knitting mojo tends to slow down a bit. 😅
By the time August rolls around, I’m usually daydreaming about cozy wools and winter makes...
But June? It’s a creative gray zone. 🌫️

🧵 This year’s project:
I'm knitting a summer sweater using two strands of fine yarn I had tucked away years ago.
I started with the neckline…
and then I just… stopped. 🤷‍♀️

Why?
Because I couldn’t decide whether to go with a raglan sweater or a yoke design.
And THEN I started questioning whether it should be lace or a plain stitch. 🌀

After a full week of back-and-forth, I finally said:
“Let’s go raglan!” 💪

The yarn has this lovely random color variation, which I realized suits raglan shaping beautifully.
So here we go—I’m back on track and ready to catch up!

🎯 Next decision: the sleeves!

  • Short sleeves (summer-friendly)?

  • Long sleeves (layering potential)?

  • Balloon sleeves (so cute)?

  • Or something simple and classic?

Still not sure. 😄 I guess I’ll decide as I knit.
What kind of sleeves would you choose?
