I’m thrilled to share that the translation of Alexander Khatisian’s "The Origin and Development of the Republic of Armenia" (Հայաստանի Հանրապետութեան Ծագումն ու Զարգացումը) is well underway! This monumental memoir, authored by Armenia’s first-ever Minister of Foreign Affairs, offers a personal account of the challenges and triumphs before and during the founding of the Republic of Armenia in 1918.
Thanks to your encouragement, I’ve explored historical documents, unpublished letters, and other materials that have contributed to the richness of this translation. Seeing this work take form has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to bring this piece of Armenian history to the global stage.
