Hey, Watchers, Scoobies, and Slayers!
We're approaching the end of season 5, and with that comes a few changes to our format as we look ahead to recording the last(!!) two seasons of the show. *TLDR (jump to the end of the post for a condensed version as well as important dates)*
--First and foremost, our release of the 'Tough Love' Spoilers will be our last spoiler episode for season 5 until we do our season recap. We will be releasing bonus episodes until then, one of which will be our recap/analysis of the Buffy movie. I'm so excited for this because I walk us through the OG script that Joss wrote and compare it to both the movie and the TV series...I seriously learned a ton and I think you will too!
As we finish with our recap of the Twilight franchise we want to hear from you guys about what other vampire/supernatural content you would like us to cover. I will be releasing a poll on Buy me a Coffee for you guys to weigh in on your preferences/ideas, but so far some of the ideas are: Bram Stoker's Dracula, What We Do in the Shadows, Queen of the Damned, Vampire Diaries (the pilot), and Interview with a Vampire. Let us know!
--Secondly, Becoming Buffy will be going on hiatus for all of July and August after we finish up with season 5, which is a bit longer than normal because....
we are going back to releasing on a weekly basis!
Unfortunately, in order to do this we will no longer be doing spoiler episodes for seasons 6-7, save for an episode at the beginning of each season, and then of course our season recap. There are many reasons for this, but time and quality content are the biggest factors.
So what does this mean for our Buy Me a Coffee members? Obviously we understand that our spoiler section is a big draw for most of you, but to hopefully make it up to you we will be giving early access to our season 6 recap episodes (including the season 6 spoiler) to our Scooby and Slayer members on a bi-weekly basis throughout our hiatus. Once we resume our weekly release schedule in September on our regular feed, Buy Me a Coffee members will also receive early access episodes on a weekly basis, just a month or so ahead of the regular feed.

That's a lot of information but hopefully that gives you all an idea of what the plan will be for the last(!!) year of our podcast. -Buy Me a Coffee members will continue to receive early access, but on a weekly basis, starting on Thursday, September 5th
