I'm looking forward to practicing with you this week. Somatic Yoga is on Monday in studio and online. We're continuing our series 'Move to Soothe' - we'll start by working our glutes and hips to strengthen them, then move through a relaxing flow to find more ease. And, big news (not really, but humour me) I've bought some proper blocks for our class, so lots more fun modifications will be open to us. In other news, I'm excited to let you know I've decided to close my YouTube channel and move to a paid subscription model. I've been offering free classes on YouTube for a year, but it increasingly feels disconnected from the rest of my work. I'm really passionate about offering applied yoga and somatics techniques and more detailed classes to women looking for holistic wellness support, but YouTube isn't the ideal space for that. Plus it take a lot of my weekend, and the comments you get on there, oh my...
I'll be creating a paid area on my website in which you'll be able to find my archive of YouTube classes, as well as new material made exclusively for the platform. You can expect new classes every month, alongside which I'm really excited about creating shorter videos and sequences on a range of specific physical and mental health topics in response to subscribers requests. Subscription will start at £3 a month (or the price of a posh coffee!) as an introductory offer, then move up to £5.99 once the platform is established. I hope you'll join me there, I would love to build a lively community of like-minded women practicing together.
