My name is Dmitry. I am a professional chef, and the owner and Managing Director of Bearcave Limited.
Everything you see here, the CulinEire Platform, the food trailer, the recipes, all of it, comes from one person: me.
What drives all of my projects is bridging technology and gastronomy. With CulinEire, I have built an innovative, gamified culinary platform that brings the same discipline I use in a professional kitchen into the world of web and product design. I want to grow CulinEire the way I cook: organised, careful, and always aiming for the highest standard.
THE TRAILER
Bearcave started as a simple idea: serve honest, memorable food from a black trailer shaped like a cave, with its own character and atmosphere.
It took me three years to build it myself, from the ground up. I took an old, decommissioned fire safety trailer as the base, the kind used for decades to show people how fire spreads in a kitchen, for example what happens when you try to put out a burning pan with water.
For years, it was connected to the kitchen world, but for a completely different reason. That history is exactly what inspired me to give it a new life: today, the same trailer tells a different story, that food can be safe, delicious, memorable, and carry its own culinary heritage. For a chef, it is hard to imagine a more motivating foundation to build on.
CULINEIRE
From that same love of food, I started CulinEire: a culinary platform that brings together everything food-related, Irish and international recipes, in-depth articles, food technology, kitchen experiments and more.
Cooking knowledge can easily become dry and boring, so I am building CulinEire to be useful and fun at the same time, with features like Chef Battles, Fridge Raids, and a growing set of tools designed to make people want to come back, again and again.
ONE PERSON, BUILT PROPERLY
This is a one-person project with a big ambition. Every recipe, every story, every line of code behind it all comes from me, alone, late at night, between shifts at the trailer. I am building it slowly and properly, the same way I cook: no shortcuts.

* Certificate in Culinary Skills, MTU Cork, NFQ Level 6, with Distinction.
* Higher Certificate in Culinary Arts, MTU Cork, NFQ Level 6, with Distinction.
* Incoming Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts student at MTU Cork (Year 3).
* Food Safety (HACCP) Level 1 and Level 2 Certified.
I want CulinEire and Bearcave to stand on Real Knowledge, not just passion.
