The wife and I have been in Australia this month and being here has reinvigorated both my sense of calm (95-something % vaccination rate?!) and my creative spirit. I’m BIG on having (or perhaps obsessively needing?) the PERFECT space to write in. It can be difficult. I know that in order to be a pro I’ll have to level up to being able to write anywhere but after the past few years that I’ve (we’ve all) been having, actually writing at all ANYWHERE is a helluva great feeling.
I’d like to take this moment to thank many of the cafes around Sydney and Port Douglas that I’ve visited and even written in. Sydney, in particular, is a nest of amazing cafes, many of them attached to local, mom-n-pop bookshops!
I am beginning to feel like myself again. My wife brought me here and her greatness should always be acknowledged.
