Dear Readers,
We were supposed to come out of this different.
COVID stripped the world to its bones,
Tore away the lies, the noise, the masks we wore inside our souls.
We saw the truth in ICU beds, in burning lungs, in silence that choked the sky.
We clapped for heroes, made hashtags, and wrote songs.
Then forgot everything.
We were supposed to learn.
But what did we do instead?
We went back to war.
Back to greed.
Back to hating each other over lines on a map or names we can’t pronounce.
Back to pretending we’re gods with our screens and slogans and stock markets.
People died.
Families shattered.
The world paused, and we had a fucking chance to reset.
But we didn’t.
We just hit play again, like nothing ever happened.
And me?
To be honest, I should’ve died.
Maybe it would’ve made more sense.
Maybe then I wouldn’t have to watch this nightmare rerun.
Where humanity forgets, denies, and destroys
Like it always does.
But I’m still here.
Scarred. Angry. Alive.
And I’m not going to stay silent.
So here’s your wake-up call:
Start remembering.
Start loving.
Start acting like life actually matters, before the next damn storm comes.
Because next time,
We may not survive the lesson.
Save Humanity before it's too late.
