Answer Me Please

Nov 10, 2021

We sometimes get ourselves into trouble for giving too much information, to still — not answer the question. This is a “run-on”, because now; what are you talking about? If one asks you “did you go to the pharmacy?”, there is no reason we are talking about what led you to not going. A simple “no” would have sufficed. If the extra information is needed or wanted, one will ask. This is when taking accountability can come into play! Come to terms, you did not handle your responsibilities; it is only your fault!

I laugh, because this can cause confusion for some. Picking and choosing what to say when asked specific questions, can show no manners. Granted, your response can mean a “no” in the most complex way, but who is here to play those English games? Why can you not simply answer the given question?

Self control! Control your self, where your manners?, or is your hearing impaired?

There is absolutely no way!

In that moment, STOP, and listen (turn on those listening ears). If you do not understand, ask for clarity. If you did not hear, ask for whomever to repeat themselves. Now whoever asked you that question (if they do in fact still care), may find themselves asking you once again. Come correct the first time, and no one would have to repeat themselves. Let us avoid wasting time, at least when we can control it!

Quote of the Auracle: “Life is more simpler than it seems, just answer the question.”
