das neue Audiobook Cutter Studio hat zwar noch Ecken und Kanten, wird immer besser und ich wollte mal ein paar aktuelle Screenshots zeigen.
Die App ist für alle gedacht, die lange Hörbücher oder andere Sprachaufnahmen in saubere Kapitel schneiden wollen, ohne sich mit komplizierten Audio-Tools herumzuschlagen. Ihr könnt eine oder mehrere Dateien importieren, Pausen automatisch erkennen lassen, in Kapitel reinhören und dann direkt exportieren.
Was mir dabei besonders wichtig ist: Wenn möglich, bleibt die Originalqualität erhalten. Also kein unnötiges Re-Encoding, wenn das Quellformat schon zum Export passt.

The new Audiobook Cutter Studio has still some rough edges, but it get's better with every iteration and I wanted to share a few screenshots.
The app is built for people who want to split monolithic audiobooks or other spoken-word recordings into clean chapters without dealing with overly complicated audio tools. You can import one or multiple files, detect silence automatically, preview chapters, and export them directly.
One thing that matters a lot to me: whenever possible, the original quality is preserved. So no unnecessary re-encoding if the source format already matches the export.
Right now, it includes:

automatic silence detection for chapter boundaries
dynamic preview of the split chapters
export to WAV, MP3, FLAC, and Opus
supports macOS and Windows
