It appears Valheim has been my current time-waster of late. The build options are good, and I have played many building games so, I would consider myself a decent opinion on the subject. For those who love to play with the terrain, this game is for you. With the right tools and stamina, you can raise the ground, dig a deep hole, and make your land flat as you are willing to take the time to make it be. You can even make your very own cobblestone road. It takes a long time and can sometimes feel like a bit of a grind, but when you have your Viking home to your satisfaction, it all is worth it.
Over time my house has turned into a dream castle. After some Drakes attacked, as they like to in their raids, and destroyed my boar pen, I have decided to extend my wall, closing in and creating a bailey. Soon I will build my stone wall and tower and hopefully ultimate protection this time! Maybe, those trolls like to do a lot of damage. Once the wall is up, I will have the high advantage point and can easily remove the pests with my bow, and it is going to look crazy awesome. With the new gate and pole decoration, I will be making many trips into the plains in the next few days as tar is my new best friend in the game. I want to put them everywhere and make my castle pop. I am excited to see down the line if there are more decorations, as this is the farthest in the game I have been will not know if they are new but, that only makes the game more mysterious.
As a newer launch, the game still has room for updates, like the festive tree and gifts released in one of the latest updates. Plus, the Hearth and Home update added new furniture and cooking items you may add to increase your health gain while you are resting, making it easier to head back out into the world of death! I will likely be spending the rest of the year indulged in this fun-to-play game. Perfecting my house and keeping you all up to date as I go!
