Japan has now entered the scene being the fifth country in modern human history to successfully reach the moon. This is a historic moment just as when the Chandrayaan-3 from India had successfully landed on the moon last year on the 23rd of August. But, how does this moment impact the field?
First, congratulations to Japan and the researchers at JAXA! JAXA's SLIM is a project to send an unmanned craft to the surface of the moon and has achieved such on the 19th of January this year.
