The Greatness of Vegan Art Supplies

The Greatness of Vegan Art Supplies

Mar 19, 2024

Paints, paper, scissors, clay, pencils, markers, brushes ... everything can be found vegan!

Using vegan art supplies is important because it aligns with the principle of not harming animals. Veganism isn’t just about food; it extends to all aspects of life, including the materials we use in art. By choosing vegan options, you’re contributing to a kinder, more sustainable world.

Even if you already have non-vegan art supplies, that’s okay—use what you have.

But when you’re ready to buy new materials, consider vegan alternatives. They are widely available in different price ranges and are just as effective as traditional options.

I use a small collection of vegan art materials for my art therapy work, and I encourage you to explore these options too. It’s a simple way to make a big difference.

You can see I use watercolor paints (my palette doesn't have Ivory Black) by Van Gogh, and watercolor paper by Canson and Fabriano (from vegan ranges) in the upper photo.

Also, I have Copic markers and Canson paper for markers, which are also vegan art supplies.

As for Metaphorical Cards, I offer a free online MAC service with two special decks "Scenarios" and "People" for your savings and convenience.
