Be open-minded: Come open-minded and be ready for new experiences.
Don't worry about artistic skills: Art therapy does not require you to be an artist. The process itself is important, and there is no contest for painters here.
Think about your feelings: Before the session, think about how you feel and what worries you.
Determine your goals: Consider what you want to achieve during art therapy.
Talk to your art therapist: Be honest and open in your conversations with your art therapist.
Write down your thoughts: Bring a notebook (art therapy journal) to record your thoughts and feelings during and after the lesson.
