If you follow us on social media, you'll be aware that a tragedy hit our community this month as one of our core team suffered a sudden and very tragic bereavement.
I'll be honest, just keeping our normal operations going has been difficult without a key member of our little team, and more importantly because we all have known the family for years, so this loss was very close to our hearts, too, and we are all left saddened and shaken by it.
If we've been a little quieter about our activities, this is why - I'm sure you'll understand. We have run all but one of the pantry sessions and kept doing food collections, but it's been difficult to keep fundraising and updating on socials as well, which means we've missed our targets so far for this month on here.
If you are able to help with our wishlist targets for May, we would really appreciate it! This will enable us to keep up the level of service for June as well without having to worry about finances. I hate to ask like this, but unless I'm honest with our supporters, I don't give you the chance to help when you might want to. I you can't, that's also fine, just a nice message will make us all smile.
