What an honour!
The famous French publication Charlie Hebdo, which is known for its coverage of controversial topics through satire & cartoon imagery, ran a piece on the recent Paris Ideal Org opening and I got a mention!
Translated, the headline reads: 'Scientology Cult Gold Medal - They too are ready to welcome the Olympics' and next to my caricature is written: "Prohibited Presence: Youtuber Apostate Alex, tireless SLAYER of Scientology in England and Europe"
Slayer of Scientology...? That has a nice ring to it.. I like it.
I remember speaking to the reporter on the day, who was friendly and stuck around for most of the day. We had a nice chat, which you can see on my live stream of the protest.. but I never expected to actually get a mention. What's more, they were even kind enough to include a link to my blog, scientologybusiness.com
This is definitely something I consider a personal achievement, and just goes to show how the French are not scared to take on Scientology. Big respect to Charlie Hebdo!
