Sedona

First stop on the journey, Sedona.

This is my first time to Sedona or to the Southwest (USA) for personal travel. I decided to come here to see if the 'energy' of the place was conducive to deeper explorations of myself, to gain clarity and understanding. So my report is a bit disappointing in some respects and beyond expectations in others! I did not feel the energy of the vortexes. I have been to several of them. That is not to say that I did not feel anything, but that what I felt was not really anything more than what I can conjure up on my own, anywhere. I could tune into several aspects of energy and some had definite flow patterns similar to what is described by others but nothing that spoke 'energy vortex' to me.

What I did find was the ability to use the locations, as beautiful and awe-inspiring as they are, as backdrops for what your own mind, your own conscious will can create. In essence, use the color, use the sweeping vistas, use the majesty of the rocks to bring you to new heights of awareness. Bask in the sun, the altitude, the wonder of it all and the possibilities of the wide-open skies, to propel you into new thinking and believing. Then use that state to create the energy flow you want. This is what I found. I could tune into up flow, down (or in) flow, lateral, swirl, straight, etc. I could tune into water energy, air energy, thermal energy, the energy of the rocks themselves and of deeper Mother Earth. Each had their own feeling, their own flow and their own rhythm.

Does this help me learn more about my path, not really, not yet. It does reaffirm a lesson... where consciousness goes, energy flows. If you believe the energy is spiraling, then you will likely experience that. If you believe there is no such thing as an energy vortex, then you will likely experience that. Oh, and crystals in Sedona are overpriced.
