This tabby kitten is a 4" square drawing on Ampersand Claybord (white scratchboard). It started out as a 6" x 4" pen & ink drawing created for a book a veterinarian friend is writing. I rarely 'reverse engineer' art, but I had a 4" square frame that was perfect. My friend didn't need the original drawing, I sent a scan to him. I decided to take a risk & cut the board down. I also added some subtle color.
