🍂 What else can I say but, WOW!
When I wrote #OneLineOctober Returns!, I couldn't have predicted the incredible outpouring of support #OneLineOctober would receive. But, knowing the #haikufeels community, I'm not at all surprised by the truly mind-blowing quality of the results! It is, as always, my great honour to be in the company of such exceptionally talented poets. You guys friggin' rock!!
With only two days of #OneLineOctober remaining, I find I'm not quite ready to let go... So, to celebrate the fantastic work you've all done, I'd love to put together a collection of your monoku as a sort of keepsake. It will be opt-in, with your choice of haiku, and most importantly—free. I've never been a fan of selling poets back their own poetry.
If you're interested in having a monoku of yours included, here's how to submit, and what to expect:
send 2 or 3 monoku you wrote this month
to [email protected] with the subject "submission"
make sure to add your name in the body of the email exactly as you want it printed
please send your submission before November 10th
I'll choose one poem (or maybe two?) per person to include
when it's ready I'll notify you (hopefully before the end of November), and post the ebook for free on my Buy Me A Coffee page for you to download
I hope you're as excited as I am to see your beautiful poems all bundled up in the fancy digital hug they deserve. And please give yourself a solid high five on my behalf. Especially if this was your first time writing monoku. Dang I'm so impressed by you guys!!
