This delightful pattern is perfect for all sewing enthusiasts who want to create a charming frog doll complete with a wardrobe of clothes.

  • The pattern is an instantly downloadable PDF file that includes printable e-pattern and easy to follow step-by-step photo instructions on how to make a doll.

  • It is suitable for those who have basic machine sewing skills or are familiar with basic hand sewing stitches.

  • If you're new to doll making, this project is an excellent opportunity to learn new techniques and gain confidence in your skills.

  • For experienced sewers, the pattern allows for customisation and embellishment, so you can show off your creativity.

What we will learn in this sew along:

  • Choosing fabrics, materials and tools.

  • Cutting the fabric.

  • Sewing, turning and stuffing the arms, legs and head.

  • Sewing and stuffing the body.

  • Attaching the head, arms and legs.

  • Making the face.

  • Sewing the doll's clothes.

You can sew by hand or machine.

Recommended materials:

  • For the Froggy - Light-weight, plain weave fabrics such as cotton or linen.

  • For the clothes - Polyester, medium-weight denim, light-weight plain weave cotton or linen.

  • For stuffing - Polyester fiber.

  • Thread of the same colour as the fabric.

  • Embroidery thread or paints to make the frog's face.

Equipment:

  • Sewing machine (optional).

  • Needles for hand sewing.

  • Pins.

  • Scissors.

  • Chopsticks for stuffing.

  • Tweezers (optional).

  • Zigzag scissors.

  • Iron.

The sample is in cotton batiste and polyester and is stuffed with polyester fiber.

Size and measurements:

  • The pattern makes a doll approximately 26 cm tall.

  • The adorable outfits are designed to fit this doll size.
