After working in the corporate world for 18 long years, I finally decided to take a leap of faith, burnt my bridges, jumped off my proverbial cliff of safety,  and quit my job in the middle of the pandemic to pursue my passion for Writing, Traveling, Food, and Stories.  My name is Andy Iyer, and right from my childhood days, I have always loved storytelling.  

In 2020, with no previous experience in web designing or programming, I endeavored to personally create my own website www.storieswithandy.com from scratch solely for inspirational storytelling, whether they are about travel, movie reviews, food reviews, or just my own thoughts expressed in prose and poetry.  

I am a passionate wanderlust traveler, and until the outbreak of COVID19, I used to travel every 6 months.  Being an avid movie lover, I also write screenplays, playwrights, etc.  I absolutely love acting in movies and on stage.  I am also a food connoisseur, who loves to explore new cuisines and new cultures.  I am presently writing a book, which I hope to publish before the end of this year.  All this was possible only by the grace of GOD, and I intend to write inspirational and motivational stories for HIS Glory.
