Hey everyone! I just published a new video on the AnderMaxPC channel where we rescue a seriously overheating Gigabyte RTX 3060 Gaming OC. The Hotspot was hitting 90°C+ and thermal throttling, but we fixed it!
Gigabyte uses a tricky 0.75mm gap on the VRAM for these cards, which means standard thermal pads can ruin your GPU core contact. In the video, I show you my step-by-step "Hybrid Method"—combining Thermal Grizzly Putty for the memory and 1mm Gelid pads for the VRM to get that perfect mounting pressure.
