I am blown away, even though I shouldn’t be. You have provided the missing piece to the question I cannot ever get past, “why are they like this? How can they blatantly ignore the harm they cause?” You’re absolutely right about American History as it relates to NPD and the ongoing trauma it relentlessly inflicts. Well done, your article was well thought out, well laid out, superbly written and is the basis for all my questions over so many years. And it was right in front of me!!

Your last few writings hit hard - been meaning to buy you a coffee w each one but the sign in always gives me a hard time after I write my message to you and try to hit send. 🤣 Anyway - thank you 🙏 Been over 30 days now and trauma-bond feels mostly broken, the hole in my heart is gone and I don’t miss him/it at ALL. (and no replacement person either). Just feel like all my energy came back to me. Clear headed and excited about the future. Will probably schedule a session soon for “maintenance” guidance 🩷😅 (what now??) feels so weird (but good) to not be addicted to anyone. Thank you again for your help/work/sharing from the heart. Every article contains sooo much good stuff!!!
Hey Stephanie! I'm so happy for you--congrats! It's not an easy time, and I know that difficult feeling of not knowing how to fill your life when you relied a lot on validation and love from others, even if that love was sick.
