Nothing annoys me more than when someone only gives the part of their journey that they think you'll resonate with but none of the parts that give them an advantage in succeeding (like loans from family members, wealthy parents, or spouses footing the bill while they focus on the biz fulltime, etc)
I'm leveling up and transforming my world and taking you along with me! From reimagining my day-to-day, to mindfully editing my friends vs associates lists, to ensuring my mind and business are on POINT.
But let's keep it real: Before I share the journey of my pivot in real time, I need to acknowledge that I have some privileges that might not be accessible to everyone just starting their journey.

🖤Living across the pond in the UK has been a game changer! As an American expat, I don't shoulder the weight that comes with being a Black American back home. Over here? It's a whole new, stress-light vibe. Coins? Yep, I've got some. While I see my bank balance doing a lil' dance (and not necessarily the fun kind!), I'm blessed to have enough to hold down the fort and still take care of my mama. Extravagant shopping sprees and yachts are DEFINITELY on pause (Connie S. Falls I'll be back to my yachting ways after this pivot sis!), but my basics? They're covered.
🖤My network! From industry geniuses to day-ones, I'm surrounded by people who've got my back and serve up wisdom to me on the daily. I've spent 20 years building and pouring into my massive network and just posting yesterday flooded my texts and DMs with offers to help, strategize, connect with resources, etc.
I recognize not everyone's stepping onto this pivot path with these privileges. So, in sharing my story, I want to honor the full picture. As I share, I will be 100% transparent about what part my privileges played in my rebuild as well as sharing how you can get the same or a similar leg up from where you are. Think of it like getting cheat codes.
Regardless of where you begin your pivot, be encouraged that I (and so many others) once built it out the mud, and you can too.
