According to a recent job posting, The Witcher: Sirius will have cooperative play, character classes, and maybe non-linear storytelling as well.
The earlier description of the game was that it was "an creative take on The Witcher universe with a memorable narrative," but no specifics have ever been given.
Despite being aimed at a larger audience, The Witcher spin-off game being created by CD Projekt Red studio The Molasses Flood, codenamed Sirius, is "absolutely not a smartphone game."
While nothing is known at this time, The Molasses Flood's prior games and job advertisements could reveal more about what gamers can anticipate from Sirius. CD Projekt Red has announced that it will be a single-player game with multiplayer elements.
Sirius has been in pre-production for some time, but it wasn't revealed to be a Witcher game until recently, when the studio acknowledged on Twitter that several job advertisements were for it.
One of these positions is for a character artist who will "assist with designing, refining, and articulating the aesthetic vision for a future, styled game," working "within the stylistic restrictions to generate beautiful, inspired designs of characters and props." Additionally, a LinkedIn posting seeks applicants who appreciate working with styled art.
