The game now has a release date after a lengthy period of development. Additionally, it was revealed by Tripwire Interactive and Sweet Bandits Studios that Deceive Inc. will have an open beta and demo at Steam Next Fest before its March release.
Deceive Inc. will debut on March 21, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC through Steam, and the Epic Games Store. There will also be opportunities to play the game more thoroughly. As part of Steam Next Fest, a new demo for Deceive Inc. will be released on February 6 for PC users to try out. When Sweet Bandits releases a cross-platform open beta on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, players on all platforms will be able to test out the game. By the way, crossplay will be available in the game.
Players choose a spy and gadget loadout for this covert PVP game, with some spies specialized in stealth, others in fighting, some in disguise, and more. Holographic watches are used by players to transform into a variety of NPCs during games so they can blend in and steal information. In order to succeed, the player must eventually grab the target briefcase and try to flee. But other spies are doing the same thing, so they might confront you at any time, from the beginning to the conclusion, if they can detect your deception from your behaviors.
