𝟵𝟵𝟭 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗻

On 10th or 11th August 991 the battle of Maldon, Essex, was fought in which the Vikings defeated an army led by Earl Byrhtnoth, who was killed.
