Friends, I've been a bit absent, but there's a good reason.
Raoul Peck's "Ernest Cole. Lost and Found " was screened at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Special Screening program.
It was my first trip to the world's most important film festival, although films with my music were already in the program.
The film was well received, great press, a standing ovation for Raoul Peck and the whole team. And the prize for the best documentary at the festival. The movie will be released at the end of the year. I can't show you the music yet, but I should be able to release it on CD.
I had to go up the red carpet twice, but everything was fine, my tuxedo got to me by parcel from Moscow and I was not expelled in shame from the premiere.

Друзья, я немного пропал, но есть уважительная причина.
Фильм Рауля Пека Ernest Cole. Lost and Found был на показан на фестивале в Каннах в рамках программы Special Screening.
Это был первая поездка на самый главный мировой кинофестиваль, хотя фильмы с моей музыкой уже были в программе.
Фильм приняли отлично, прекрасная пресса, стоячая овация Раулю Пеку и всей команде. Ну и приз за лучший документальный фильм на фестивале. В прокат фильм выйдет в конце года. Музыку пока показать не могу, но должно получиться выпустить её на CD.
Два раза пришлось подниматься по красной дорожке, но всё обошлось, смокинг добрался до меня посылкой из Москвы и меня не изгнали с позором с премьеры.
