I've decided to get rid of my socials for the new year as they have been too distracting and taking me away from my creating time. 2026 for me is about simplifying my life and getting back to the basics. I used to enjoy instagram and looking at other artists work but now it's nearly all ads in the feed or A.I. generated art that doesn't have the same feeling for me. I'm exploring more artists on YouTube and Buy Me A Coffee instead, and looking at supporting the real artists and avoiding the fakes.
I'm saddened that there are so many videos and socials about how to rip off artists ideas, change them in A.I. and trying to sell them in some get-rich scheme. So I'm dropping out of the socials because they depress me instead of inspiring me, and I'm after a positive journey in 2026! Also, I'm hoping to spend more time in nature, to create, relax and rest my soul. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
