Back in March I read a post in LinkedIn from a woman from the states that walked the Camino de Santiago and is now on her 6th year living in Spain, specifically Valencia in the last 2 years. So naturally I reached out and we’ve kept in touch since.
Last Saturday I texted her to let her know I was officially living in Valencia and same day she invited me to the pool party you see happening in the picture! That’s me in the water next to her in the red ✨
I was added to a friend group and yesterday a few of us went to work at a cafe together. Then walked around the city looking for a gym. 🏋🏻♀️
It’s been lucky and wonderful and I’m so thankful. I moved to Valencia with the intention to “be able to walk to a friend’s place in less than 20 min” and now I have 3 friends in my very neighborhood! Less than 10 minutes away 🥰
