Arabic is a Semitic language, Semitic languages include Hebrew and Aramaic, and some of the Ethiopian languages. find more about Semitic languages.

it is interesting that the Hebrew bible and holy Quran were revealed and written in the same family of languages, the term 'Semitic' driven from Noah's son name(sam or shem) who come into the middle east.

some people bet that Jesus talks in Aramaic which is popular along with Hebrew in that time in history in journalism and Palestine.

Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is the literary standard across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa, and is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. Most printed material by the Arab League—including most books, newspapers, magazines, official documents, and reading primers for small children—is written in MSA

Every Arab can understand Modern Standard Arabic, That’s mean you shouldn’t be stuck in the other forms of Arabic, just learn the standard. in fact, every Arab and Afro-Arab country has its own form of spoken Arabic, but they can understand the standard form too.
