The City of Minerva is an (obviously) imaginary, nontraditional colony on the planet Venus. I say nontraditional because its founder visited alone a year in advance of her intended launch date to share with the locals her plans, made a pledge to do all work, with resources transported from Earth. All lightweight and almost all biodegradable, but certainly repurposeable.
It is a great big labor of love for me, in support of all women everywhere, especially in this case, women incarcerated for having killed their abusers.
I’m looking for support to make it as big as my imagination will allow, including but not limited to, a film or films, music, a nonprofit, writing and art workshops inside women’s prisons, hopeful gallery showings to share the work and raise awareness.
