It's a review of the obvious things, like tools, machines, everyday appliances, software, built-environments and services that stretch across the globe, but also the more subtle laws, procedures, cultural beliefs, ideas. Each one of these things changes how we think, live, work and play, and is worth investigating. After decades as researcher and designer, I want to understand how to design a future where we all benefit.
