Many of you know that in honor of my 50th birthday last week, I've been collecting money for the curator of the Museo de las Culturas Afromestizas, Angélica Sorrosa Alvarado. I was fortunate enough to visit the museum and meet Angelica last year. As you might imagine, the museum doesn't receive much in the way of financial resources - Angelica has been unpaid for years.
