A Canvas of Flawed Art (ACFA) is a working studio and publication space — part porch journal, part sketchbook, part quiet workshop.
Here you’ll find essays, illustrated notebooks, comics, and small-run objects built around thinking, making, and learning in public. Some pieces are reflective. Some are practical. Some are a little sharp around the edges.
The studio is run by two people with very different tools:
one works in story, illustration, and visual metaphor;
the other works in math, logic, and structured practice.
Together, that shows up as:
illustrated essays and comics
story-driven math content and practice sheets
notebooks, mugs, and paper goods pulled directly from the work itself
Nothing here is factory-made. Nothing is rushed. Most things start as experiments and earn their way into permanence.
ACFA isn’t about perfection or productivity theater.
It’s about making things that hold up to use — on a desk, in a classroom, or on a quiet morning with coffee.
