Thanks for stopping by! We founded VenturedTrails after spending years exploring nature with our son. Adventure keeps us going and craving more. Summer, fall, winter, and spring, we can be found outside with our three dogs. From hiking and kayaking to snowboarding, outdoor activities are a part of our lives, and there’s a long list of adventures we want to try. The great outdoors has been a way for us to connect with nature, as a family, and create a community. One of the most exceptional things about being an outdoor enthusiast is the incredible way it opens up the world and infuses new and exciting people into it.
In 2019, We were hit by a drunk driver; that experience changed the way we look at the world. Life is short, and we no longer wanted to let fear keep us from creating content and products we were passionate about and set an example of chasing dreams for our son. An inspiring trip to Yellowstone, sparked an idea as we hiked and photographed less popular trails, we saw more stunning views and experienced animals in the wild. The kindness and hospitality the outdoor community has for complete strangers is unparalleled. Whether you’re a stranger needing a ride back to your car or your map led you astray, people are willing to help. This trip was one of the catalysts for the beginning of VenturedTrails.
