Hi!
I am a contributor on WikiTree.com and an enthusiastic genealogist. I am also a retired software engineer.
Since joining WikiTree I have had ideas to make contributors more productive in finding sources, creating citations, adding profiles, importing GEDCOMs and other common tasks. This is an opportunity to put my software development talents to good use!
I developed the WikiTree AGC browser extension in 2020 (I have now ported it to the WikiTree Browser Extension) and the WikiTree Sourcer browser extension in 2021. Since then I have been continuously improving WikiTree Sourcer and adding support for new sites.
If you would like to support the ongoing development and maintenance of my extensions you can use this page to "buy me a coffee".
Contributions help with the costs of subscriptions to sites and upgrading my old Mac laptop. They also incentivize me to keep spending 15-20 hours a week developing Sourcer instead of working on my own genealogical research!
If there are enhancements that you would like implemented in these extensions feel free to add a note about that.
