About Matthew Armitage
A Musician
Hello 👋
I’m an independent singer/songwriter hailing from New Zealand and residing in Northern NSW, Australia.
May 2022 saw me release a new single 'Calling you back'. I shared my first studio album ‘New Tide’ in June 2018.
I'm currently working on more original recordings. You can now buy me a 'long black coffee' to encourage the creative process ☕️
ABOUT MY MUSIC
Matthew Armitage is a truly unique guitarist and a thoughtful songwriter who is independently crafting his career throughout Australia and New Zealand. His sound melds together a traditional blues aesthetic with the influence of soul music, folk song, coastal and latin sounds to create a style that’s all his own. The result is a soulful, mellow and deeply engaging musical experience.
