About Matt

a humanitarian and documentarian serving Ukraine

I’m Matt. I have 15 years of volunteer leadership and 8 years of international humanitarian work as well as being a photographer and documentarian. Currently I am Vice President of Medical Disaster Response and part of the Ukraine Aid Operations ground team.

I’ve been in Ukraine since the second week of the invasion and have fallen in love with its people and culture and have no plans to leave. This is my new home and I intend to support these beautiful resilient people as long as I am capable.
