I build open-source tools that bring Wireless M-Bus utility meters (water, heat, electricity) into Home Assistant — without a USB dongle on the HA host. An ESP32 with a cheap radio chip listens where the signal is, MQTT carries raw telegrams, and my add-on decodes them and creates HA entities automatically: WebUI, auto-discovery, live preview, per-meter AES keys.

Everything is free and GPL-licensed. Coffee keeps the test bench running — spare meters, radio modules and the occasional 2 a.m. debugging session.
