Hey Guys,
Thanks so much for the support! Glad you are enjoying the podcast :)
I started this podcast when I became aware, through my own experience and talking with friends and others within the sport, that there was a serious lack of knowledge around all things female athlete health.
At the time, there were no other female specific running podcasts, and issues like RED-S, eating disorders, and a lack of awarness around the impact of hormones and puberty on women were leadings to girls and women leaving the sport, and ending up in vicious cycles of poor health, injuries, and performance.
I wanted to use my experience and connections within the sport of running to make a positive difference to the enjoyment, health, and performance of fellow athletes and runners.
My mission is to help runners, athletes, and experts, to share their stories, expertise, and reflections, to help others.
I think that communication is one of the most powerful, yet simple ways in which comfort and support can be brought. Knowledge is power and talking and sharing can bring this knowledge to people.
I believe every person should have the right to enjoy and engage with exercise in order to experience the many benefits it can bring, both mentally and physically. Therefore, any barriers to this need removing.
This is why I established Fitter, Faster, and Happier.
I do this completely for free and the podcast does not bring in any income. I have a future vision for the podcast and what to work towards expanding and building the brand to realise this. In order to reach a wider audience and amplify the positive impacts which this podcast is having, I need to build a larger audience and continue to expand and improve the quality of the podcast, to do this it would require some financial input.
So, if you are willing and able any donations would be much appreciated, so that I can continue to produce and expand the brand and podcast.
Thank you so much in advance, I really appreciate your support.
All the best,
Indira x
