I've been a professional software developer for about 20 years now.
When my wife, my four kids, and I went into quarantine due to COVID-19, one of the pastimes they all picked up was playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch.
I don't play the game, nor do I own a Switch, but I wanted to help them by making the game easier to play.
So, I built a progressive web app: Nook+.
I really only ever intended to build it for them, but when I started seeing interest in it from outside of our household, I decided to share the link on social media.
