My artistic journey began under the pews of my Granny's old Baptist church, where I first discovered my love for drawing. Growing up, I faced the challenges of Autism in a time and place where little was known about it. But through the support of my loving family and the companionship of a special kitten named Meeka, I found my stride—both literally and figuratively.

Art became my sanctuary, a place where I could express my gratitude for the simple joys of life, especially the animals that have been my constant inspiration. My blog, Country Girl Gone City, is a space where I share my artwork, stories, and reflections on life. Whether it's through a new piece of art or a heartfelt story, my goal is to connect with you and share the beauty I find in the world around us.
