We are a traditional Catholic husband and wife, living in Ireland, who draw inspiration from the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
We work to guard the Catholic Mystery through writing books (three from Roger so far, more on the way from us both), producing videos for YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/RogerBuck), and running the extensive website: https://corjesusacratissimum.org
For guarding is needed. Increasingly, the West is cut off from the font of its civilisation, the Mystery of Christ. Yet in the Catholic cradle of Western civilisation, this Mystery once flourished: People knew they were fallen and turned humbly to the Supernatural Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ, as He became present in the Holy Sacraments of the Church.
But the Mystery becomes lost, as the Tradition decays. In the past, our beloved Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI has expressed concern, lest Catholicism become a “clone” of Protestantism. Yet in many instances, the Catholic Church loses her identity, becoming ever more like a Protestant congregation, failing to revere the Living Mystery of Her Sacraments …
And Christianity becomes lost in the world at large. Contemporary society becomes ever more arid and materialistic – devoid of the sense of the Supernatural. Or it turns, instead, to New Age mysteries: denying Christ and His Church.
Yet ‘the light shines in the darkness' and the Heart of the World and the Heart of the Church, the Cor Jesu Sacratissimum continues to offer moral courage, hope, joy, strength, meaning and more, infinitely, inexpressibly, unfathomably more …
Here are indications of the chief concerns of our writings and videos, as well as our hearts.
For it is our continuous prayer that the Mystery at the heart of Western Civilisation – that of the Sacrifice on Calvary – can be saved in widespread cultural awareness. It is our belief that if it can be saved, there is hope for the World …

As always my gratitude for your work and passion for Éire and the True Faith! St. Patricius ora pro familia Buck!
Críostoír de Siún—thank you. Your continued kindness here is helping us more than I know how to say. More than I think you may imagine. You are making a difference, trust me . . . I use ellipses here as I don't know how to do paragraph breaks here and long blocks of text aren't pleasant to read . . . Unless I am very mistaken, this work for Éire is becoming ever sharper, clearer in my mind and I believe more central . . . I think a 'higher gear' may be possible soon. And this really helps. God bless and keep you and yours.

‘Twas a meandering path via the Rila Mountains that led me to Robert Powell and Valentin Tomberg, the latter’s Our Mother Prayer that connected my heart to him, and a Google search for a photo of him on his birthday that bumped me into your project. The consideration of a deeply Catholic faith is both repellant and attractive, but something in these distant bells rings true to this septuagenarian Jewish-born dancing woman and worthy of listening and exchange….
Thank you and bless you, septuuagenarian Jewish-born dancing woman for not only for this kind contribution in funds, but also your kind words. They *help* me . . . Believe me, I understand what you write about 'repellent' . . . It was my first reaction to Tomberg 27-28 years ago— and my heart sank even further when I saw him standing up for a decidedly un-liberal pre-Vatican II Catholicism, criticising Vatican II, in unusually severe terms, especially for him who usually refused any trace of polemic . . . I put ellipses here, as I cannot do paragraph breaks . . . But to say more, I am grateful to hear of your heartfelt connection to Tomberg and how you found my work him through a search on his birthday. As I am also grateful for your kindness in exchanges with someone who has taken the once-repellent plunge and who might yet repel you . . . If you want to continue, I do try to respond to comments at the Tomberg videos, including the older ones, although I can be slow . . . Also I imagine we must share a similar background in some respects and just possibly this might interest: https://corjesusacratissimum.org/2015/11/at-the-grave-of-civilisation-steiner-tomberg-and-modernity/ . . .What you will find there, if you look, has been 're-packaged' in possibly repelling terms (?)—'re-packaged' in respect for both the audience it was intended for, as well as my own interior changes over years of inner struggle and torment with these issues . . . but if you look to the 2003 material you may find interesting things . . . Again really bless you!

God Bless You!
No . . . bless you! I am conscious, Críostoír de Siún, of your deep kindness to us on different fronts. Not just these donations that really do help us—but also your kind engagement with my work and my TGT book. If I didn't struggle to keep up with things, I might say more—but despite silence, I do warmly and gratefully think of you 'across the pond' but with your roots over here . . .
