You might not know my name, but you probably know my work:
✓ I’m the writer of Killing It, Empty Rooms Lonely Countries, Go West, Cover Stories, Failed Pilot, Notes from Paraspace, and Smashed: 10th Anniversary Edition.
✓ My work has been featured in Time, Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, and mentioned on NPR, Comedy Central, and MTV.
✓ I’m the inspiration behind Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl”.
✓ I’ve been an American stand-up comedian in Poland for a decade.
✓ I was Twitter's @DRUNKHULK.
✓ Joe Hill, Anthony Bourdain, Linkin Park, John Hodgman, and others have said lovely things about my work.
✓ I wrote and performed in an obscure comedy sketch TV show in the 90s with actors who would go on to be in shows like Stranger Things.
✓ NPR said, "People get paid a LOT of money to write comedy who are not one-tenth as funny as [Christian A. Dumais]."
And while I'm not the one who can tell you how funny I am, I can say with certainty that I do not get paid a LOT of money to write.
If you've enjoyed my work through my books, my comedy sets, my Notes from Paraspace newsletter, or even my ridiculous tweets, here's a place where you can show some support for what I do.
Thank you.
