🟢 RESOLVED, thanks to "spider" for old version, can play those old demos again
am in the middle of making various camera angles to clips. updated game to play for a bit then get back to the video, but the update broke demo playback for all my demos from before today (which is 99.9% of them) and it includes current project demos.

one of those "i should've" moments but time to work on fix – in worst cases will make update but will wait first.
