Just listened to your poscast with Stellar Anderson. Came across it (and therefore your site) by chance as my stepson Rory plays bass for Stellar. Would love to have a chat with you at somepoint. My story has similarities with Stellar's. I'm now 61 and over 3 years into recovery from alcohol addiction. Having never really done any song writing before I began during my recovery with songs about my journey. I now have a 'Recovery Roadshow' where I tell my dull story to others currently in rehab etc, whilst also playing my songs etc. My theme is stolen from a Frank Turner song (who has been a good friend to me throughout this) - "Broken people can get better if they really want to". I've already done a podcast with Freddie Cocker on his VENT outlet which is aimed at getting men to talk about their Mental Health, as well as many interviews inc BBC National News.
