Performing has been in my blood since setting up stuffed animals to put on live concerts for. I began songwriting in elementary school and would hide away in my bedroom singing and making my own melodies and writing a lot of poetry. I was too afraid to sing in front of people, but had this as a passion and desire since I could remember. I finally picked up a guitar in college and learned how to play while playing for my grandpa, open mics, and local songwriter rounds. As a caregiver for my grandpa, we had an extremely close relationship and spent everyday together for several years. The night before he passed away I sang him 3 last songs. Now I try to play any chance I get for whoever will listen. :)
